FAQ's
Q.  Why don't you sell these guitars through a typical walk-in guitar store?
A.  The answer is in the question.  Putting Ruokangas guitars in a typical store would be like putting
Rolex watches in Wal-Mart and asking everyone who comes in to try them on.  In reality, it is far better to
find out how they sound through
your amp anyway.  That's not to say that some stores are not equipped
to sell these fine instruments.
Check www.ruokangas.com for current in store dealers.

Q.  What makes these instruments so special?
A.  That question would take way more space than I have, but in brief : 1). The exquisite hand
craftsmanship of every guitar, there are no
average Ruokangas guitars like you find in almost every
other makers daily run of instruments.  2). The special aging process used to create vintage vibe
without waiting years for the wood to age.  3). Wood selection unique to Ruokangas instruments.   4).
Pickups designed in Germany just for Ruokangas.  5). A TWENTY YEAR warranty.   6).  And finally,
playability that
inspires your music!!  To get a closer look go to www.ruokangas.com.

Q.  Where can I read about these guitars?
A.  There are back issues of Guitar Player with reviews and of course Harmony Central, but for my money
if you want the most in depth review of ANY piece of equipment you need to read ToneQuest magazine.
If you are a serious player ToneQuest is a must read and their web site www.tonequest.com is a must
visit.

Q.  Do you carry other brands of instruments?
A.  We specialize in rare and vintage instruments and amplifiers to complement our lines of new pro
gear.  We offer a locater service as well.  Current stock includes a 1954  Stratocaster, a 60's Gibson
Dove, a 1936 Gibson Mastertone, and several others but we tend to keep just the best so we have don't
have a large inventory.  We have several vintage Fender amps including tweeds and Black Face.  Email
your needs.

Q.  How do I set up an appointment?
A.  Call (417) 848-8697 or better yet use the Contact Us page and leave an email.  Please include details
such as: playing experience, type of music, equipment now used, etc.  I will arrange a time that fits your
schedule and mine to get together.
